Cirencester College - Environmental Science & Geology Spanish International Trip (272) 2027

Environmental Science & Geology Spanish International Trip (272) 2027

This trip is for ES and Geology students

The trip offers students a valuable opportunity to experience aspects of the course that they would not normally have access to, while also contributing towards their required field trip days. Students will have the chance to explore a variety of habitats, including arid environments and cloud forests, as well as visiting the globally important UNESCO-listed Teide National Park. They will also experience modern igneous processes first-hand and see an exceptional range of igneous rocks. These geological features are particularly significant, as comparable sites in the UK are hundreds of thousands of years old and have therefore become heavily weathered and poorly exposed.
