SGS Drama Department presents....
The play "Killed: July 17th 1916" by the Belgrade Theatre Company is a poignant exploration of the human cost of war. It is based on the true story of Billy Dean, a young British soldier who is sentenced to execution for cowardice during World War I. The play delves into the night before his execution, using a series of flashbacks to reveal the complexities of his character and the impact of his actions on his family and the world around him. The play is a powerful reminder of the emotional and moral dilemmas faced by soldiers and their families during wartime.
