HEP - UPS Year 1 Residential - Essential trip

This residential is an essential component of the course and directly contributes to both first- and second-year units. It provides learners with valuable practical experience, teamwork opportunities, and the chance to apply skills in realistic outdoor environments, all of which are vital for progression into the uniformed services.

Residential Dates
The residential will take place on one of the following dates:
4th - 7th May 2027,
or
11th - 14th May 2027
We will confirm nearer the time which residential your young person has been allocated to.

Cost and Payment
The total cost of the residential is £360, which covers accommodation, food, activities, instruction, and equipment.
You may choose to:
Make a one-off payment for the whole amount by the 24th October 2026, or
Pay a non-refundable deposit of £95 by the 24th October 2026, and then pay subsequent monthly instalments, starting at the end of November 2026 through to the end of April 2027 of £45 and then £44.

If you have Selected to pay by the 100% Bursary option - You must have been approved for bursary, if you select this option. If you are not approved for Bursary you will be removed from the Trip and may lose your place.
