2026 - IB EAA Trip to Bicton Common and River Otter - ESSENTIAL TRIP

An essential part of Environmental Science is gaining first-hand experience in a wide range of fieldwork sampling methods. To meet the requirements of the specification, students need to experience collecting samples in the field and using lab techniques to undertake standardised analysis of the samples. To further develop these areas of skill, we will be visiting Woodbury Common, near Exeter, to undertake vegetative sampling and the River Otter, at Otterton, to take investigate fresh water invertebrates. This trip will require some absence from other subject lessons and will be authorised as an educational visit.

If you have Selected to pay by the 100% Bursary option - You must have been approved for Bursary Band A, if you select this option. If you are not approved for Bursary Band A you will be removed from the Trip and may lose your place.
