We are very pleased to share that all children across the school will be taking part in a
Black History Month workshop titled 'Honouring our Communities' on 5
th and 6th October 2026. The days will begin with an opening assembly for all pupils, followed by
workshops tailored to each year group.
This year, the workshops will be led by As Creatives, who specialise in History Through
Drama Days. Each year group will explore the life and impact of a significant person of
colour from history, using creativity, imagination and drama to deepen pupils' historical
understanding.
