This trip is for 2nd Year Geology students
Travel to Herne Bay to work during the low tide to collect fossilised shark teeth from the beach. .The low tide is particularly low and falls at 8.44am
To make the trip practical we will travel over on the Monday and return on the Tuesday after a residential stay in a local Premier Inn.
The trip can be used in the students practical endorsement, but is not essential as other opportunities are offered to meet the criteria assessed on other local trips.
28th September to 29th September 2026
We will be leaving College (28/09/26) at tbc and returning (29/09/26) at tbc.
Please make arrangements for any travel to and from the college outside the normal bus timetable.
