Reigate Priory is a busy learning community so there are many ways to lend a helping hand. This can include listening to children read, supporting Year Group cooking sessions, being a librarian to keep the library tidy and organised or even helping outside to maintain our playground and green spaces.
Volunteers need to attend Safeguarding Training before starting to volunteer in school and annually thereafter.
As well covering safeguarding, the session includes site specific information such as fire evacuation and lockdown procedures and how to obtain DBS (Disclosure Barring System) clearance.
Once clearance has been received, volunteers will be contacted by their child's class teacher or other relevant member of staff and invited to begin their volunteering.
To attend an online Safeguarding Training session please select from the drop down box below.
If you are able to contribute towards the cost of processing your DBS this would be greatly appreciated.
