Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope that all students have settled happily into the new school year.

We are incredibly proud of Kesteven & Grantham Girls' School and the progress we continue to make year after year. We are committed to providing the very best learning environment for all of our students, and the School Fund plays a vital role in helping us to achieve this.

As you will be aware, school budgets continue to face increasing pressures. In previous years, we have requested voluntary contributions towards the rising costs of materials used in Technology, Creative Arts, Science and English which equate to approximately £75 per student. We recognise that it can feel as though we are frequently asking parents for financial support, so this year we are trialling a different approach.

We would like to invite parents and carers to make either a a one-off voluntary contribution to our School Fund or set up a regular donation to school. This important fund will support a wide range of faculty areas across the school including the areas already mentioned, enabling us to provide opportunities that go beyond the core curriculum. Contributions will help us enrich learning experiences in all departmental areas, bringing the curriculum to life further and enhancing the educational opportunities available to every student.

We fully understand that not all families are in a position to contribute, and we would like to reassure you that all students are treated equally, regardless of whether or how much their parents choose to donate.
