A fantastic opportunity to see the London transfer of the RSC's Hamlet Hail to the Thief at the Barbican.

The play is a bold reimagining of one of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies. By combining Hamlet with the music and themes of Radiohead's Hail to the Thief, the production explores timeless ideas if power, grief, corruption and identity in a fresh, contemporary way.
For our History of Art students this will give us some insight into the depth of Ophelia's despair ahead of studying Millias' Ophelia next year; for English and Classics students the play offers a unique opportunity to see how Shakespeare enduring themes and classical influences can be reinterpreted for a modern audience.

Please bring a packed lunch or food etc will be available to purchase nearby the venue.
