Years 9 - 13 Spanish Immersion Visit to Malaga, Spain - Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 March 2027

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for your child to take part in a Spanish Immersion programme in Malaga, Spain. One of the oldest cities in the world and benefiting from the sunny weather of the Costa del Sol, the city boasts many historical and beautiful attractions, such as the famous Picasso statue in the Plaza Merced and the Malaga Cathedral.

We have worked with the very reputable company Beelingual to offer an educational and exciting programme which will immerse students in the vibrant Spanish language, culture and lifestyle whilst also improving language skills and enhancing development across the curriculum.

The English students will stay in either pairs, triples or occasionally quads with Spanish families from the Language School in La Cala del Moral, a coastal suburb 15 minutes east of Malaga city. Established family networks are based in reputable neighbourhoods with welcoming communities, providing a unique opportunity to experience real Spanish life and culture. Families are carefully selected and supported by a network manager who visits each family home. Resources are provided to prepare students for their stay and the host families will provide food throughout the week.

The itinerary will include a guided visit to Malaga's historic centre and a day excursion to a Spanish city. Previously, we have visited Ronda, Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada. There will also be a visit to a local secondary school to meet and integrate with local students, Spanish classes hosted by secondary school group specialists, flamenco classes, a tour of the town and beach sports activities and free time for shopping.
