2027 Barbados Junior Cricket tour

Provisional details of the Barbados 2027 tour can be found in the attached itinerary and will include matches against local teams, training sessions, and great sightseeing and cultural excursions around the Caribbean island.

All boys in the current L1st, 1st & 2nd forms who represent the School in cricket matches during the 2026 season are invited to attend. If you your son is new to the school in September 2026 your son must be regularly playing cricket at Club or District level.

Please note that these trips are not compulsory, and if your son is not able to attend, this will not prevent him in any way from future Whitgift Cricket team selection. The cost for the trip will be approximately £3,450 for nine (9) nights in Barbados (the final cost is dependent on the price of the flights ' currently we are working on the flight cost to be a maximum of £1,260).

We would also like to make this trip accessible to any families who wish to come out at the same time. Our tour operators Smile Travel can assist with all your travel requirements.

We hope to take up to 5 teams (max of 70 boys). If the number of applications exceeds 70, places will be allocated via a ballot. Deposits of £595 must be received via WisePay no later than 15th MAY. If your son's place is confirmed the deposit is only refundable under normal travel insurance conditions.

We envision this trip being a great memorable sporting, cultural and life experience for all involved as we aim to develop the boy's cricketing abilities and passion for the sport.
