BTA - T&T Thorpe Park April 2026 - ESSENTIAL

As part of the Travel and Tourism course we have arranged a visit to Thorpe Park on Tuesday 28th April to allow learners to complete their assessment tasks for their course.

For Level 3 learners this is the chance to gain firsthand experience of visitor management systems and how well they work as well as looking at how a visitor attraction has diversified over time and finally the positive and negative impacts of a visitor attraction on the local community and area. This visit will also have an impact on Unit 2 Customer Service, Unit 6 Hospitality and Unit 22 Storytelling.

For Level 2 learners they will have the chance to experience the products and services and events provided by the attraction as well as assess their customer service via a mystery shopper activity.
This visit is a compulsory visit and therefore payment is covered by Bursary for those who are eligible but must still be booked on Wisepay.
The visit is open to Level 2 and Level 3 Year 1 Travel and Tourism learners.

Trip cost is £43.00 to be paid by Monday 20th April 2026
