Redborne Dance Showcase and Technical Rehearsal - Tuesday 3 March and Thursday 5 March 2026
Your child has been invited to participate in the Redborne Dance Showcase 2026. This will take place on Thursday 5 March at 6.30pm in the Connolly Hall. Students will be expected to arrive at school by 5.30pm and you will need to take responsibility for your child's onward journey home after the show finishes around 9.00pm.
All dancers will also be expected to attend the dress and technical rehearsals on Tuesday 3 March from 2.00pm (period 5) - 7.30pm. Their attendance to this rehearsal is crucial in ensuring the show runs successfully on the Thursday and therefore all students must commit to this rehearsal. If students have other commitments on this day I am hoping that this letter provides enough time to change/amend those. Again, you will need to take responsibility for your child's onward journey home after the rehersal.
The showcase will allow students to perform their exam pieces as well as extra-curricular work from dance clubs. There will also be some guest performances from Alameda Middle School, Fundamentalz, Bedfordshire school of Dance and Drama and Vacani School of Dance.
