As part of the AS / IB Level Biology course we are running a trip to the Electron microscope Unit in Plymouth on Monday 26th January (pm session) or Tuesday 27th January (am session). Students will have the opportunity to learn more about electron microscopy including sample preparation to support their knowledge of this. This is a fantastic chance for them to learn parts of the syllabus outside of the classroom as well as to experience how PEMC supports undergraduate teaching in biology at Plymouth University. Students will be travelling by minibus from Exeter College to the PEMC based at Derriford in Plymouth.
