This trip is for GEOGRAPHY students

The trip offers an opportunity for students to experience part of the course that normally they would not be able to whilst also counting towards their required days of field trips.
In Environmental Science the students get to see a range of habitats that they learn in the course first hand e.g. arid habitats and cloud forests and they will visit environments which are globally important UNESCO site Tiede National Park.
The geologist get to see modern igneous processes and a range of igneous rock that is hard to rival, the equivalent sites in the UK are 100,000's of years old therefore poorly exposed and highly weathered.
