We are offering our students the opportunity to visit Hinkley Point C Nuclear power plant on 04.11.2025.
During this visit students will learn about the nuclear power industry, the issues associated with nuclear energy and disposal of waste.
At the visitor centre in Cannington the students will have a short lecture from one of the nuclear scientists and be able to investigate nuclear energy generation using interactive technology, all information will be tailored to the A Level syllabus.
The visit includes a tour of the construction site of the new reactor.
Leaving college from the Hele Road site at 8.30am and returning at approximately 3.30pm
