Dear Parent/Carer,
We are delighted to invite your child to take part in our Lego Club at Worthing High School.
Lego Club provides students with a fun and creative opportunity to work together, problem-solve, and use
their imagination in a supportive and friendly environment. For those who want to take their skills further,
the club also offers the opportunity to participate in the prestigious FIRST LEGO League Challenge.
Through the challenge, students aged 9 to 16 work in teams to:
Design and program an autonomous robot using Lego technology to complete missions on a themed
game field.
Research a real-world problem based on an annual theme and develop an innovative solution.
Demonstrate Core Values like teamwork and gracious professionalism throughout the process.
Compete in regional tournaments, with the chance to progress to national and international events.
Club details:
When: Every Tuesday
Time: Initially Tuesday lunch times but may move to more than one lunchtime.
Where: D4
Cost: Free of charge (all Lego and resources are provided)
If you would like your child to attend, please log onto wise pay and consent by 17 October 2025. There is a
limit of 30 students.
