Trip Permission Slip I Visit to the Houses of Parliament, UK Supreme Court & Europe House

As part of our Year 13 join A-level Law and Politics curriculum, we are organising an educational visit to the Houses of Parliament, the UK Supreme Court and Europe House in London.
This trip will give students a unique opp01iunity to see how laws are made, interpreted, and connected to European institutions.

During the visit, students will:
â€¢ Houses of Parliament: Explore how Members of Parliament debate and vote on new laws and how the House of Lords scrutinises and amends Bills before they become
- Acts of Parliament.
â€¢ UK Supreme Court: Understand how the highest comi in the United Kingdom interprets and applies the law, sets legal precedents, and ensures the law is upheld.
â€¢ Europe House: Discover how the European Union and other European institutions continue to influence UK law and policy, and how international cooperation shapes areas such as trade, rights and environmental law.
