MAS Y2 Environmental Science Trip to Ashclyst Wood - ESSENTIAL Trip

On Tuesday 23rd September. Leaving Exeter College at 9.30am and returning at approximately 3pm.

Activity - Students to undertake a series of transects in both natural and planted woodlands to investigate changes in biotic and abiotic conditions, this is an exam board recommended practical .
Students will spend about 4 hours gathering data that we will later analyse in class, this will also act as a reminder of ecological surveying techniques that we leant about in the first year.

This is a compulsory trip
Students need to bring a packed lunch, sturdy footwear some warm clothing and waterproofs. We will be based at Caddihoe scout den, so there is shelter and building that we will be using for our lunch break.

If you have Selected to pay by the 100% Bursary option - You must have been approved for bursary, if you select this option. If you are not approved for Bursary you will be removed from the Trip and may lose your place.
