Ten Tors 45 & 55 Mile Training - EXtra - 2025-2026 (Bookings Open 1st October 8.30am)

BOOKINGS OPEN 08:30AM ON WEDNESDAY THE 1ST OCTOBER.

The Ten Tors Challenge is attempted by 2,400 teenagers in 400 teams of six. The teams navigate routes of 35, 45 or 55 miles (depending on age) over the Northern half of Dartmoor, visiting ten nominated tors/check points in under two days. Teams must be self-sufficient, carrying all that they need to complete their route and stay out overnight safely.

Exeter College will be entering teams at 45 & 55 miles.

PLEASE NOTE: 55 mile training is for 18-19 years olds or open to 17 year olds who have previously completed a 35 mile or 45 mile route

Refunds should you not wish to continue on the Ten Tors training programme.
Individual entry fee to the 2025 Ten Tors Challenge for successfully selected Students - £65 Includes event evening meal, breakfast & Team T-Shirt.
We recommend each student has their own compass.

We have every intention to keep to the set dates above. However, there are occasionally circumstances beyond our control. In the unlikely event training dates need to be cancelled if required, alternative dates will be arranged.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A TEAM SELECTION PROCESS FOR THE TEN TORS EVENT (APRIL 24th - 26th 2026).
FOR THOSE SUCCESSFUL, THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL £65 FEE TO COVER ENTRY FEES, TRANSPORT & FRIDAY EVENING MEAL & SATURDAY BREAKFAST.
