London Theatre Trip - Academic Marple - 26/11/25

The English Team would like to invite you to join us on a cultural visit to London to take in the sights and watch a production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The cost of the trip will be £289 and this will cover one night's B&B accommodation, return train fare from Stockport to London Euston, group travel insurance and theatre ticket. Learners will require additional funds to cover food, drink and the London Underground. The trip will support your understanding of Shakespeare, as examined in English Literature Paper 2 of the final examinations. For English Language students, the trip will support your understanding of Language Change, historical texts, contexts and representations. There are 15 places available. Please fill in the consent form below and return it to Sheila Mather or Lisa Sigley. A £100 non-refundable deposit payable via WisePay is required by Friday 12th September. Payment in full will be required by Friday 3rd October. Learners who receive the college bursary will be able to get financial assistance with the cost of this trip.
