Payment for 1-2-1 Music Tuition at Loreto College 2025-2026
Terms & Conditions
A block of 10 x 30-minute lessons costs £190.
This is payable before the set of lessons commence:
15th September 2025
5th January 2026
20th April 2026
There is a discount available if a full year's of 30 x 30-minute lessons is paid for by 15th September: this is
£540 for a full year.
Payment is via Wisepay (through Loreto.ac.uk), or cheque/cash can be paid at the Finance Office on the
ground floor of Ball Building.
Once a student starts lessons, it is assumed that students will be having 3 blocks of lessons across the
academic year.
If you wish to discontinue with 1-2-1 lessons, you must see out the block of lessons you have currently
committed to. Written notice to the Head of Music must be given, and received a month before the next
lesson block payment would be due.
Refunds for a block of lessons will only be made in exceptional circumstances.
The instrument/vocal teacher, in agreement with the student, and Head of Music, will schedule lessons.
ABSENCE
The student must give 24 hours notice to the instrumental/vocal teacher, via email, if they will be absent
(trip/appointment /interview etc). If less than 24 notice or no notice of absence if given, the lesson will still
be charged for. If a student is ill on the day of the lesson, they must notify college absence via phone or
parent portal BEFORE 9am or the lesson will still be charged for.
REMOTE LESSONS
Should college provision need to revert to remote learning, 1-2-1 music lessons will continue via Microsoft
Teams using video.
These sessions:
- will use the student's and peripatetic staff member's Loreto College account
- will be recorded (and accessible to the student and staff on myLoreto afterwards)
- must run with selected screen background within Microsoft Teams for both student and staff
- must have parental consent
- must be the only form of remote video contact
