With real-term reductions in funding from government continuing,
Friends of the College aim to provide the resources for additional facilities
which would benefit the College, which would not otherwise be possible to provide.
Funding provided has, over many years, contributed to projects benefiting the maximum
possible number of students.
In the last few years, Friends of the College were delighted to be able to purchase a 17 seater minibus
to support trips, visits and fixtures and also a large scale refurbishment of furniture in student study area
on the Concourse.
Money raised is also used to support students who, because of hardship, are unable to meet
the costs of travelling to employment or higher education interviews.
