Nettlecombe Court (93) Geography Coursework Skills Trip 13-15 April 2026

This trip is for Geography Year 1, A Level Students.

This is a Geography residential skills trip to Nettlecombe Field Studies Centre in Exmoor.
Students will carry out three fieldwork investigations and be provided with a variety of methods and materials to carry out these investigations.
You will also practise fieldwork skills on the coast, in a woodland ecosystem and look at regeneration in Taunton.
This will provide students with detailed instruction in small groups with three off the shelf coursework plans
they can use in their own independent A level Geography coursework in the summer of 2026.

Students who have undertaken this training usually gain better grades on their coursework than their
classmates who have not.

Visit to Taunton, Porlock bay and Nettlecombe court.

Departing 9am on 13 April and returning at 4pm 15th April 2026.

Please make arrangements for any travel to and from the college outside the normal bus timetable.

Bring a packed lunch or food will be available to buy in Taunton town centre.
