London 3D Design 29 - 30 January 2026

This trip is for A Level Art and Design 3D Students

3D Y2 Design trip to London.

Moco Museum, Tate Modern and V&A. Art, Design, Architecture for primary source research for the
Externally set assignment.
This will provide you with a rich source of contemporary and historical inspiration for your Art and Design
assessed Externally set exam; where primary sources are valued highly by the exam boards and unique
design responses by you can be made.
You will have the opportunity to take lots of primary photographs , draw and see first-hand 3D artwork,
buildings and artifacts, which will be vital first hand sources for your projects.

The cost of the trip includes return coach travel to London an overnight stay in the YHA Earls Court.
With an evening meal for day one, breakfast and a packed lunch for the second day.

In addition, you will require enough money to cover cost of :- tube fares at approx. 3 Journeys approx. £15.00 and your lunch on day one Thursday (or you can bring a packed lunch).

Also, if any postcards or books you wish to purchase for the development of your own practice.

Leaving at 8.30am (29 January25) and returning at 8pm (30 January 2025)

Please make travel arrangement to and from the college outside the normal bus times.

Bursary students - you must pay the deposit on Wisepay and you can then use your trip allocation towards the remaining balance. Please call to Student Journey and complete a trip form to pay part of the balance using your Bursary.
