The English Team would like to invite you to join us on a cultural visit to Stratford-upon-Avon
to visit the birthplace of William Shakespeare as well as the Shakespeare Schoolroom and Guildhall, and to
see a production of Shakespeare's Macbeth by the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The cost of the trip will be £211 and this will cover one night's B&B accommodation, return train fare
from Stockport to Stratford, group travel insurance and the activities listed above.
The trip will support your understanding of Shakespeare, as examined in English Literature Paper 2 of the
final examinations. For English Language students, the trip will support your understanding of Language
Change, historical texts, contexts and representations. There are 20 places available.

A £75 non-refundable deposit payable via WisePay is required by Friday 12th September.
Payment in full will be required by Friday 3rd October.
Learners who receive the college bursary will be able to get financial assistance with the cost of this trip.
