Dear Parents and Carers,
Next Friday we will be holding our annual Charity Mile. This involves the whole school community and provides us with the opportunity to raise money for our three selected charities; one local, one national and one internation. This year they are Ocean Ward at Southampton Hospital, Marie Curie and Women for Afghan Women.
We ask students to get sponsorship of a minimum of £1, but every year many students raise much more. Money raised can be sent in via WisePay to avoid students needing to bring in cash. All the money raised will be split equally across our three charities.
The course is being designed within the school grounds to enable everyone to join together in helping others. On this day we also ask that all students come to school in their summer PE kit and come prepared for the weather with suncream and water.
