This trip is for All History pathways, Year 1 and Year 2
History students have the opportunity to visit The British Museum in London, which offers a rich and diverse
array of resources that significantly enhances the teaching and understanding of modern history.
While often associated with ancient civilizations, the Museum also houses key exhibits and collections that
directly relate to themes in modern history, particularly imperialism, industrialisation, global conflict,
decolonisation, and the legacy of empire.
This will enrich the students' understanding of their chosen pathways and allow a deeper, critical engagement.
