This trip is for Year 1, Level 3, STEM Students
This trip is open to all STEM students in Year1 (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Computing, Electronics, Engineering) .
It is a day trip to London with a timed visit to the Royal Society Summer Exhibition 2025 (10:30- 12:30) and then after lunch a trip to the Royal Institution ( both in close proximity to Green Park).
Students should bring a packed lunch (or buy some lunch in local shops) and hopefully with good weather enjoy this in the park.
The Royal Society's annual Summer Science Exhibition offers an interactive experience for anyone curious about the latest advances in science and technology.
Visitors last year could get hands-on with berry-powered solar cells, find out how they could join the hunt for unknown species in their back garden, or meet the scientists designing remote-healing technology.
Check out some of this year's exhibits at Summer Science Exhibition 2025/Royal Society.
The Royal Institution is the venue for the famed Christmas Lectures and houses a museum incorporating
Faraday's laboratory, work from Humphry Davy and the brilliant mathematical work of Ada Lovelace.
