Dear Parent/Carer,

Year 2 are visiting Broadstairs on Tuesday, 1st July. This visit links to our Year 2 topic on â€˜The Seaside'

We will be leaving school at 9am and we aim to return to school by 4:00pm. We will endeavour to let you know via text if this time changes. The children will need a packed lunch, if you require a school packed lunch please indicate on the reply slip below. The cost of the trip is £30 per child. This covers the cost of the coach to Broadstairs and an ice-cream.

The children will need to wear their full school uniform, and they do not require any spending money. We recommend that they wear comfortable shoes, as there will be a lot of walking. Please ensure that you apply any sun cream in the morning and provide your child with an extra bottle of drinking water. Children will also need a sun hat, change of clothes as they will be allowed to paddle with adult supervision, and a raincoat just in case.

Your child should bring a packed lunch on the day, which should not contain any glass bottles, chocolate, nuts or fizzy drinks. It is helpful if this lunch is in a carrier bag, so the children do not have heavy packed lunch bags to carry. If you would like the school to provide your child with a packed lunch, please indicate their choice on the attached slip.

Please return the signed permission slip, along with the payment by Friday, 20th June.
