Fieldtrip 3: Glaciation fieldwork in the Lake District
Meet at college at 7:20am. Students will travel by coach to the Lake District. We will park in Grasmere and walk to
Easedale Tarn observing and collecting data on glacial landforms as we walk. Staff from Blencathra Field Studies
Centre will lead the teaching and provide all fieldwork equipment. We aim to leave Grasmere at 4:30pm and return
to college at approximately 7pm (traffic dependent).
