Build a rocket ' Taster Day ' University of South Wales

Students will be joined by our champion Rocketry Society for an introduction to rocketry and the opportunity to build their own rocket. We will then invite you and your students to launch your rockets at our launch site in Newport.

10.30 - Arrival and welcome - Treforest Campus
10.45 - 11.15 - Introduction to Rocketry
11.15 - 12.15 - Build a rocket
12.15 - 12.50 - LUNCH - Students are invited to bring a packed lunch or purchase food on site. Please note we are a cashless campus.
12.50 - 13.50 - Build a rocket
13.50 - 14.00 - Q&A
