This December (13th) we wish to offer our Environmental Science students the opportunity to visit the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. This trip complements the Fishing section of the syllabus and gives the students the opportunity to investigate the sustainability of local and global fishing practices and learn about marine conservation efforts both home and abroad. Topics such as the impact of climate change and pollution on our oceans will also be covered. The trip will also include a behind the scenes tour of the workings of the aquarium.
This trip is not a compulsory trip as part of your Environmental Science course but is recommended as a very useful addition to support your understanding of key topics. As it is not compulsory, unfortunately Bursary students won't have their costs covered for this trip
