Life Education is a charity providing a unique life skills and health education programme to schools. The programme teaches children about the wonder of their bodies, the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise. In addition, children are encouraged to develop skills which enable them to assess and manage risk in order to keep themselves safe, learn skills of friendship and how to cope with bullying and peer pressure. They rely heavily on donations from each school they visit towards their annual running costs.
This visit is a costly resource, but one which we are keen to provide for the children as the learning opportunities are invaluable. We will, of course, subsidise the trip from our own budget, but we really need donations from parents and carers to support us with this. I am asking you for a donation of £3.50 per child, which will really help us to offset the cost. If you are unable to pay the full amount, but can make some contribution, it is appreciated.
