Richard Taunton UPS Team have arranged an incredible opportunity for the Uniformed Protective Services course to have a tour around Portcullis House (Houses of Parliament). Not only is this an incredible opportunity for them to see inside but this will give them the information needed for their final government assignment. The Government unit is a Mandatory unit that has to be completed to successfully pass the course. We will be attending Parliament on Monday 18th November 2024.
Students need to arrive at college for 8.30am as we will be leaving, on the college mini bus, at 8.45am. We will travel to London (Richmond) by minibus then use the underground to commute to London, Westminster. We will be inside Parliament for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Students will view both the House of Lords and the House of Commons. They will also meet with our local MP.
