Year 6 Residential Trip 2025
Dear Year 6 Parents/Carers,
I am extremely pleased to confirm that the Year 6 residential trip will be at PGL Marchants Hill, in Surrey. This will be our first visit there, but as it is a PGL site, we are sure to have an amazing experience!
The trip will be 2nd- 4th June 2025. It is a 2 night/3-day residential trip full to the brim of activities and experiences.
The trip is centred on having fun, whilst taking part in a wide array of adventurous activities. These are designed to help your child learn and develop new skills and really shine as an individual and part of a team.
For many children, this may be their first experience of staying away from home without you. Our staff and the PGL staff will be on hand throughout the experience to encourage, reassure and support, so that your child returns home even more confident and independent with a real sense of achievement.
We have chosen to book with PGL because not only do they offer excellent value, but they also have a reassuring 60 years of experience organising trips for schools. Their extremely high standards ensure that your child will always be in safe hands.
The price includes accommodation (camping), all food, travel and activities. As with other residentials, children will share their dorms and will have access to our own facilities. Teachers will stay in the same area and site security patrol and support 24 hours a day.
The full cost for the trip is £340 per person and also covers the cost of travel. To secure your place, please return this form with a £50 deposit by Tuesday, 16th October 2024. This is so we can secure the booking, which is very popular with other schools. Please note, should you change your mind for any reason, the deposit will be non-refundable. Once committed to the trip, you will be responsible for paying the full amount, as once the booking is confirmed, we pay the money directly to the company.
The payment schedule is:
Initial Deposit £50 Due 15th October
1st Payment £50 Due 22nd November
2nd Payment £50 Due 18tH December
3rd Payment £50 Due 24th January
4th Payment £50 Due 27th February
5th Payment £50 Due 27tH March
Final Payment £40 Due 25th April
Once we have the deposits, we will be able to send you more information and a potential schedule. If you would like to pay more money earlier or pay the full amount early, you are more than welcome.
