As part of our Level 2 Travel and Tourism Programme we would like to offer the opportunity for students to attend a day at Butlins Minehead.
The visit will take place from Tuesday 15th October 2024 and includes:
Unlimited rides in the Traditional Fairground
Access to the huge Splash Waterworld swimming pools, featuring flumes and rapids.
Live daytime shows in the indoor Skyline Pavilion
Access to bars and restaurants
During the trip students will have the opportunity to spend time with the Butlins Entertainment Team and find out about the role and responsibilities of a Butlins Red Coat to support their learning for Unit 13 Career Planning.
In addition, they will be able to experience first-hand the facilities, products and services offered which will help considerably towards their coursework for Unit 2 The UK Travel and Tourism Industry and U1 Customer Service in Travel and Tourism.
The cost of the trip is £35 per student, although this may be subject to change depending on student numbers.
To secure a place on this visit a non-refundable payment of £35 must be paid via your WisePay account by Monday 30th September.
This is an essential trip for learners and therefore covered by Bursary for all learners with bursary.
