As you may be aware, state school budgets are becoming tighter and tighter and it is proving increasingly
difficult to run the extra curricular programs that we pride ourselves on. Many schools put a charge for extra
curricular sport, something we do not believe is right to do. For that reason, we are asking parents, if they are
able, for a voluntary small donation towards the running of the HBS hockey programme.
This is to help towards the excesses caused by such a depth of provision for a state funded school.
(Minibus upkeep, Coach bookings, match balls, kit, first aid, refreshments etc.)
