HMS Pinafore Thursday 25th April

Following some recent outstanding school productions, I am very excited to be able to invite you to this
year's show: HMS Pinafore. This is a show that was originally written by the famous 19th century
partnership of Gilbert and Sullivan, but with an updated score and libretto for the 21st century by Mr Barker,
our Head of Performing Arts, and Mr Aherne who used to be a member of our English and Film Studies
department before retiring.

Pupils and staff have been rehearsing hard over the past few months to put on what is promising to be a
great show… all we need now is an audience.

Performances will take place on Wednesday 24 th, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th April 2024, starting at
7.00pm. This is a show for all the family. Tickets are available now via WisePay, priced at £5.00 for adults
and free for anyone who is of school age. Please note that although tickets for school age audience members
are free, they do still need to be booked via WisePay so that we can keep track of numbers.

There are no reserved seats and audience members will be able to choose where to sit on arrival. Doors will
open at 6.40pm. Unfortunately, anyone who arrives after the show begins at 7.00pm won't be admitted until
a suitable break in the performance.

Refreshments will be available to purchase during the interval.
