Romero Rave Run - Sunday, 21st April 2024

The inaugural ‘Romero Rave Run' event in 2024 has the goal of encouraging younger children to participate in
running events and to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. This event involves running three small laps of
the school grounds (approximately 550 metres per lap) and incorporates a circuit of the large sports hall,
where runners will experience the motivating rush of dance music and disco lights!

This is a charity event with all proceeds going to Friends of Romero (Registered Charity 1053384).

Children age 3-12yrs eligible

Medals for all finishers

Runners under the age of 6yrs must be accompanied by an adult (adult place free with paid child ticket)

Registration from 08.00 on the School Field

Warm up 08.45-09.00

Run starts at 09.00

Refreshments will be available

Declaration
By entering the Romero Rave Run, I confirm that my child will be between the age of 3 and 12 years of age
on race day and that they are medically fit to compete.
I also declare that my child has no medical disabilities that will endanger them or others participating in the
event.
I understand that I, or another suitable adult appointed by me, must run the race with my child if they are
under 6 years of age on race day.
I accept that my child enters at their own risk and that the organisers and sponsors will in no way be held
responsible for any personal injury, or loss or damage to personal property before, during or after the event.
I will also take the responsibility to ensure that my child is aware of any further information provided about
this race e.g. confirmation and race information emails.

Refunds and Cancellations
All entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred if your child is unable to run.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation (by us), we will refund all entries (less fees).
If the race has to be postponed due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control, entries will be
carried forward to another date (to be advised).

Data Protection
The personal information gathered when placing your order will be used for administering the event and
contacting you by phone or email.
Users of this may include the race organisers and also any appointed third party such as the race
management.
Certain details such as your child's name, but not your contact data, may appear on the school website,
results emails, text messages and could even appear in newspapers.
