Romeo and Juliet Thursday 10th July 2025 at 6:30 pm Main Hall
10 July 2025 at 18:30 until 21:30
Venue : Unallocated seating auditorium 5.00 and 10.00 You are warmly invited to our Summer production of ‘Romeo and Juliet', performed by students in Years 7 - 9.
This is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's famous play and is set in the 1960s in ‘swinging' London. The Capulets and Montagues are rival fashion houses. Capulet Couture is stuck in the past and their popularity is waning with the public with their monochrome style. The Montagues on the other hand are the new wave of fashion, creating cheaper, ‘ready to wear' clothes in eclectic new styles and colours. It's a war against fashion and it's a war against class and of course despite all of this; Romeo and Juliet fall in love.
The performances will take place on: Thursday 10th, Friday 11th & Saturday the 12th of July in the Main Hall at 6.30pm. Tickets are priced at £10.00, however there will be a half-price ticket at £5.00 available only on the 1st night for students.
