The purpose of the trip is to enrich students cultural, religious and philosophical knowledge and
understanding. Naples is a UNESCO world heritage site with a multitude of things to do and see. It has over
500 different churches ranging from gothic, neoclassical, baroque and more.  Students will visit
underground ruins and catacombs from various periods of antiquity expanding their understanding of pre-
Roman, Roman and Christian communities. Naturally, a visit to nearby Pompei is a must and students can
literally delve into the past by visiting these unique archaeological sites. 

Napoli is world renowned as being the birthplace of pizza but there is also a cornucopia of other traditional
foods and dishes which students can indulge in. 

Students will also attend Mass in one of the cities numerous churches.
