If you are interested in starting lessons or learning an additional instrument in school from September, this
is the place to let us know!
Instruments offered to Lovell House pupils are piano, harp, cello, violin. Violin may only be
suitable for a few students at this stage.
When you have registered interest here, we will contact you with more information about music lessons and
if a space is available in the chosen instrument/s.
If you would then like to go ahead with lessons, an account will be set up for you on WisePay, you can
confirm lessons are to begin by making a payment. A space cannot be reserved for your child until the first
payment has been received.
The instrumental music teacher will be in touch to introduce themselves and to timetable the first lesson.
For the 2023/2024 academic year, for Lovell House students, instrumental lessons are 20 minutes
long and are charged at £16.70 per lesson. Instrument hire is £20 per instrument per term
for Lovell Students.
Once you have started music lessons in school our notice terms are that parents can give immediate notice
during the first term of lessons, thereafter one half term's notice is required with that notice to be served
through the link on WisePay on or before the first day of the half term in which the notice is to run. E.g. if
lessons were to stop at Christmas, notice would need to have been received before the end of the first day
back in school after the October half - term break. There is also the option to pay for a half term's lesson in
lieu of notice should you prefer.
