Like all schools operating in the state sector, budgets are tight and are being squeezed continually to encourage schools to be ever more efficient. While this is clearly a reasonable goal in general, the endless changes in approach, and the sometimes over-zealous actions of Government, can, and do, lead to periods of budget crisis.
We have been truly blessed at The Holt by having a hugely supportive group of Parents, Guardians, and friends, who give their time, expertise, and money for the benefit of the school. All are gratefully received, and without them there is no doubt that school life would not be so rewarding for our students.
For those who would like to make a financial contribution, the most popular method is to set up a monthly or annual standing order. One-time donations for specific projects are welcome of course, but the predictability of regular contributions makes it so much easier for the school to plan where and when these extra funds can be put to the best use.
These donations help The Holt find a way to continue delivering an outstanding education for its students.
