SCHOOL FUND
Flamstead Village School Fund was set up to provide children with extra resources that we are unable to pay for through main school funding such as school trips, in-school workshops, visiting theatre companies and other enjoyable 'extras' such as prizes. We request a voluntary donation of £45 per child, per year (which can be paid termly at £15 per child per term or monthly at £3.75 per month). Donations are made through the PTA (Parent Teachers Association), who as a registered charity, are able to benefit substantially from HM Customs and Revenue 'HMCR' tax rebates (Gift Aid) of just over 28p for every £1 of contribution, at no cost to the donor. Money collected via this rebate is then passed back to school. Ms Jones will ensure that this rebate is put to good use in ways that will benefit the children. More generous donations or increased monthly contributions would be warmly received as all monies are channelled directly into benefits for the children at our school.
