Course Description

The Outdoor Activity First Aid course is designed for all clients who have an involvement in outdoor-based activities involving remote care and longer term casualty assistance. This course takes elements of the Sports and Activity First Aid and adds specific injuries and illnesses one may encounter for water-based, mountainous and changeable outdoor environments. Suitable for outdoor leaders and coaches in both the voluntary and private sector. This course will provide participants with the opportunity to gain fundamental knowledge and skills in order to recognise and manage common injuries sustained in activities and provide immediate non-emergency care.
