Please note that students are required to attend both sessions per week. A parent must be present at the paired lesson. Alternative times may be available for paired lessons.

The Suzuki method of learning the violin is particularly appropriate for very young children and is based on the same way we learn our mother tongue, through listening. In order to benefit from the Suzuki approach, it is necessary to attend both a paired/ individual lesson once a week and a group lesson where all the children will practice what they have learnt together. Parents need to support their children at home but do not need to have any musical experience. Instruments can be bought or hired through Mrs. Carlin or independently. An information session will be organized in due course for parents who wish to enrol their children.
