Under the terms of Bamford Academy's Charging and Remission Policy, parents are invited to voluntarily contribute to the costs of ingredients, materials and IT consumables (e.g. ink and paper) that are used in cooking, science and technology activities. This is particularly the case when the child / parent has ownership of the finished product, or the costs of the activity are considered excessive.
To this effect, a voluntary levy of £5.00 per child per year is requested at the start of the academic year. The Academy reserves the right to alter this levy, but notice will be given to parents.
Please feel free to make a larger contribution, if you feel that you are able to do so.
